Manchester United come into the game having beaten Copenhagen 1 - 0 courtesy of a Bruno Fernandes penalty in extra-time and are will be looking to get their hands on silverware this season, their first since the 2017 Europa League triumph. They have already secured a place in the Champions League group stages next season via a top four finish and finally are playing fast-attacking football which manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer describes as being the 'United Way' as he said in the Press conference that to beat them, we'll score more goals than them.. Ole Will be looking for his fiftieth win as a Manchester United manager making him the third fastest manager in the Red Devils' history to reach the landmark..

Sevilla are the most successful team in the European second tier having won the trophy 5 times and Julien Lopetegui will be hoping to achieve the Los Nervionenses' sixth championship win.. They defeated Wolves in a match mostly dominated by them and won 1 - 0 thanks to a late winner by Luke Ocampos in the 88th minute. 

United will be looking for revenge as Sevilla had knocked out The Red Devil's from the Champions League Round of 16 back in 2018 when Jose Mourinho was at the helm of Old Trafford. After a goal-less draw at the home of Sevilla which was kept goal-less by David De Gea's heroics as he was at his best at that time and the pick of the save was him denying a Luis Muriel header from point-black range. In the return leg Sevilla beat United 2 - 1 courtesy of two goals from Ben Yedder. Mourinho's cautious tactics proved disastrous as Ever Banega ran over the top of our midfield creating numerous chances and dictating play. The Argentine will be crucial again as his quality is told and he can create something out of nothing. However with a different manager and different tactics this time, United may have the edge over the Spanish side and this match should be a interesting match to watch..

ELSE WHERE IN EUROPE...

In the second semifinal, Inter Milan play Shakhtar Donetsk which is a game which could go either way with Inter Milan looking to reach their first European final since the treble winning season of 2009 - 10. 

In the Champions League, Lyon knocked out Manchester City yesterday and will face Bayern who are fresh from destroying Barcelona 8 - 2 . Bayern Munich are clear favourites to lift the Champions League trophy in my opinion and should breeze past Lyon without any major concerns.

On the Other side of the draw,  Paris Saint Germain helped by two late goals from Marquinhos and Chopu-Moting defeated Atalanta who lead for most of the game courtesy of a goal from Mario Pasalic. They will face the  competition's dark horses - RB Leipzig who knocked put Diego Simeone's Athletico Madrid 2 -1..

TEAM FORM

Manchester United have only lost one game since Bruno Fernandes arrived and that was against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final. Since the resumption of football, there has been a feel good factor to how Manchester United have been playing with Ole having promised that he will get us playing the United Way - Fast , wide attacking football.. Manchester United have already secured Champions Football by finishing 3rd in the Premier League. They recently beat Copenhagen 1 - 0 in extra time with a Bruno Fernandes' penalty..

Sevilla are unbeaten since Februaary and the last time they lost was to Celta Vigo in early Feb. They recently beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1 - 0 in the quaterfinals of the Europa League..

TEAM NEWS

Axel Tuanzebe and Luke Shaw are ruled out for the remainder of the season. Phil Jones was a doubt and has not traveled with the squad to Cologne so he is also out. Victor Lindelof should be fit to start after his late cameo against Copenhagen..

As for Sevilla there are no major injury concerns and they will be looking to field the same eleven that won against Wolverhampton. 

PREDICTED TEAM

We need to start our best available eleven and that means Nemanja Matic should be coming in for Fred. Don't get me wrong Fred was very good against Copenhagen but he always has an error in him and that position will have the toughest job on the pitch - marking Ever Banega. Give him a chance and you'll suddenly find yourself 1 - 0 behind.. The Bench could contain youth prospects and Juan Mata will be key coming off from the bench..

ANTHONY MARTIAL : It is no secret that whenever Anthony Martial performs, the entire team plays well. The Frenchman this season has been remarkably consistent and is our leading scorer with 23 games in all competitions and has formed a telepathic understanding with Marcus Rashford. His impact was seen against Copenhagen when he provided individual moments of brilliance and was feeding off scraps making him THE ONE TO WATCH OUT FOR...



VERDICT

Sevilla would be a tough tough game and this could go either way.. 

MY PREDICTION : Manchester United 2 - 1 Sevilla. Martial to score.
