MAN UNITED v WEST BROM - MATCH PREVIEW

TRIVIA

Venue - Old Trafford, Manchester
Kick Off - Saturday, November 21 -  21:00 GMT
                 Sunday , November 22 - 01:30 IST

The Red Devils will be looking to build upon their recent win over Everton and hopefully kick-start their season. The International Break came at a bad time for Manchester United as we had gotten a good response to a string of bad results. Also this break has complicated the United's injury list with a few more people injured. Now with United having to play twice every game week it will be crucial for them to get this run off to a winning start. This win will also help overturn their fortunes at home.

As for West Brom they will be looking for their first win in the Premier League since returning back this year. West Brom are one of the weakest sides in the Premier League and it is up to Bilic to pull off a miracle and keep them up. They would want to take advantage of United's woeful home form this season.

TEAM FORM

Manchester United's season has been a roller-coaster ride. There have been two very different sides - one that doesn't want to play and the other who will chew you out. In the Premier League, they have looked a force away from home but their home form is relegation form. In the past five Premier League games - Solskjaer's side has won two of the away games and taken a point off 3 home games which also involved a crushing 6 - 1 defeat at the hands of Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspurs.

As for Slaven Bilic's side they are still looking for their first win since coming back in the Premier League. They have drawn thrice and lost all other games and it will be interesting to see how they g about with business against the Red devils.

TEAM NEWS

Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial are doubts for the game as they were reportedly injured during the international break - both suffering back problems. They will be doubts. Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard are not fit and won't be included. Marcus Rashford has trained with the team and he probably be available for selection.

West Brom will be fielding a full strength squad and will be boosted by the return of Branislav Ivanovic, Callum Robinson and Matheus Periera from COVID-19.

PREDICTED TEAM

David de Gea should retain his place in goal. I don't feel that Lindelof will be risked and that should mean that Tuanzebe and Maguire start along with Telles and Wan Bissaka. In midfield Fred and McTominay to be partnered with Bruno Fernandes and Van de Beek. Upfront it should be Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.

PLAYER TO WATCH OUT FOR

BRUNO FERNANDES - Even with the slow start that United have had this season, Bruno Fernandes already has six goal and five assists to his name. The set piece specialist is always one step ahead of the opposition and no matter what gives more than a 100% for the club. He was extremely good against Everton and was involved in all three goals. Him wanting to prove a point will make him one to watch out for.

VERDICT

I feel that Manchester United should win this one easily by a good margin even if West Brom will sit back and defend all game. My prediction :

Manchester United 4 - 0 West Bromwich Albion. Fernandes to score
