MANCHESTER UNITED v BURNLEY - MATCH PREVIEW

Manchester United come into the game in top form, having not lost their last 19 games in all competitions, with the previous seven being victories. The red devils are currently second in the league and are set to qualify for the Champions League quite comfortably next season. Key to all proceedings this season has been the Portuguese magnifico - Bruno Fernandes, who has been in sensational form this season, averaging a goal involvement per game. Manchester United will be looking to capitalize on this recent form, and a win against Burnley will further cement their place as the second-best team in England at this moment in time. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will also be looking to break the Burnley jinx, whose record at Old Trafford in the past five years has been exemplary.

Sean Dyche's men, on the other hand, will be looking to stay up in England's top tier as they are currently 7 points off 17th placed Fulham with a game in hand. They are unlikely to get relegated, but as long as there remains a mathematical possibility, Sean Dyche will not rest or ease up at any point in time. He will once again look to take the Clarets away from Old Trafford unscathed, having almost secured another year in the Premier League.

TEAM NEWS

Eric Bailly is set to return with the squad after having missed the previous two weeks due to being infected with Covid - 19. Marcus Rashford is a doubt with an ankle injury. Apart from them, the entire squad is fit and ready to play.

Burnley will be without Ashley Barnes, Roby Brady, and Kevin Long. Dwight McNeil and Nick Pope are doubts for the game, but it is expected that Pope will be back and between the sticks against the Red Devils.

PREDICTED TEAM

It looks like Dean Henderson has replaced David de Gea as United's number 1 and will look to continue his good performances against Burnley. In front of him should be a familiar back four, comprising of Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Aaron Wan Bissaka. Mc-Fred will act as the double pivot in front of the defense, with Pogba, Fernandes, and Greenwood starting in front of them. Up-front will be the in-form Uruguayan - Edinson Cavani.

PLAYER TO WATCH OUT FOR

Edinson Cavani -  The in-form Uruguayan has but his goal woes at bay and looks really sharp upfront. His movement is a nightmare to deal with and is considered one of the best in the world. His hunger for goals is back, making him the one to watch out for.

VERDICT

This won't be an easy game as Burnley are a tough team to break down. Regardless I predict a comfortable win for the Red Devils.

Manchester United 3 - 0 Burnley
